1979年、兵庫県生まれ。同志社大学文学部英文学科卒業。2013年、デビュー作『スタッキング可能』が三島由紀夫賞及び野間文芸新人賞候補となり、14年にTwitter文学賞第１位。19年、短篇「女が死ぬ」がシャーリイ・ジャクスン賞短篇部門の最終候補に。21年、『おばちゃんたちのいるところ』がレイ・ブラッドベリ賞の候補となったのち、ファイアークラッカー賞、世界幻想文学大賞を受賞し、23年、日伊ことばの架け橋賞を受賞。
